This second annual Earth Day Event is presented by Community Services Unlimited Inc., Normandie Avenue Elementary School, and Sol Foundation. Join us for a wonderful day of earth friendly community building through music, cultural performances and art, food culture, and fun. Learn from organizations sharing information about community health and environmental issues. Shop from local businesses selling sustainable, handmade, and earth friendly products. Learn to write poetry, compost, or make recycled art during at a workshop. Join in painting a community mural. Activities for the whole family!

Volunteer With CSU Earth Day
|
|
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed to help with everything from set up, to helping with workshops, to directing parking, to clean up.
There will be 4 volunteer shifts on Earth Day. 10 – 15 volunteers are needed for the 1st shift & 30 – 40 volunteers are needed for the other three.
1st shift: 7am to 11am
2nd Shift: 8am to 12pm
3rd Shift: 12pm to 4pm
4th Shift: 4pm to 8 pm
Earth Day volunteers are encouraged to attend an orientation at Normandie Ave Ele. School on April 13th from 7-8 pm or 15th from 6-7 pm. For more details and to RSVP contact Lawrence DeFreitas at LD"at"csuinc.com or call 323-299-7075 or 323-898-5193.
